Get to know us!

We’re Rich and April, the husband-and-wife team behind Rosie’s.

Food has always been a big part of our lives. Rich grew up in a family that has worked in food for three generations. His family runs a specialty market in Redwood City and Palo Alto, so he grew up surrounded by great produce and people who care deeply about where food comes from.

That eventually led him into professional kitchens. Rich spent years cooking in Bay Area fine dining restaurants, with a focus on French and California cuisine. During COVID, he stepped away from restaurants and built a career in the startup and manufacturing world, but the pull to get back into food never really went away.

April has always loved baking. Some of her favorite memories involve baking with friends and family, and that eventually found its way into Rosie’s through brown-butter chocolate chip cookies and tiramisu.

In 2025, we finally decided to build something of our own.

We started Rosie’s as a weekend pop-up while both working full-time jobs. What began as a way to test an idea quickly turned into something much bigger. We started recognizing the same faces week after week, selling out events, and building a community that gave us the confidence to keep going.

We will be announcing Rosie’s next chapter in fall of 2026, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.
